On Dec 21, 2001 John sang at my mother, Evangelist Enid Ellis' surprise 70th Birthday concert. It was held at a small Anglican Church in Top Valley, Nottingham. I had asked John as a favour, I did not have much money, but wanted to celebrate my mothers 70 years of life AND 60 years as a Christian AND 50 years of preaching!!! John said YES! and came and ministered as if he was before a crowd of thousands (instead of just 75 people). My mother was so thrilled, and she has all of his CD's.
