“I knew John from childhood days. He was the kindest, most compassionate, most caring person that a human being could ever be. All John needed to complete him was salvation. God’s grace completed him because he had all those qualities before he became a Christian. John would visit with me in New York every year. We spent a lot of time together also on the telephone. We spent a lot of time reminiscing about childhood days, the good times as well as the bad. He would always let you know that God is still good in spite of what we went through. John loved his family and most of all he loved his God. He would spend hours telling me about God and the many reasons why we need to serve Him.
